INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy swimming & diving teams notched a number of head-to-head victories at the Ruth Lilly Center Pool this weekend. The Greyhounds hosted double duals on both Friday and Saturday, with both the Greyhound men's and women's squads sweeping each day.
Friday night, the UIndy women downed Missouri-St. Louis and DePauw, 193-13 and 143-90, respectively. They followed that with Saturday wins versus Maryville, 122-33, and UMSL once again, 131-21. The men's team had similar success Friday, topping UMSL, 189-23, and DePauw, 164-66, before again besting UMSL, 120-45, on Saturday.
A number of Greyhounds hit provisional qualifying marks Friday night. Already the owner of an NCAA "B" cut in the 100 free, senior
Justin Rossillo notched a provisional time in the 100 back with a 49.57. Junior
Dawid Rybinski hit his first B cut of the year in the 500 free (4:36.61), while senior
Tyler Offutt upped his qualifying scores on both the 1- and 3-meter boards, scoring 328.40 and 295.90 points, respectively.
The UIndy men's 800 freestyle relay team of
Aaron Stevenson,
Patrick Kays,
Doron Benjamin and
Steve Wascom combined for a time of 6:47.01, also good for a B cut.
Saturday, junior diver
Natelie Todd notched a qualifying score on the 3-meter board by amassing 286.13 points.
All told, sophomore
Karolina Szymaszek had a combined four wins on Friday and Saturday, taking the 100 breast and 100 free while contributing to victories in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.

The Greyhounds next race at the House of Champions event Nov. 21-23, held at the IU Natatorium, site of the 2015 NCAA D-II Championships this March.
