Missouri S&T Miners (6-3, 4-1) at 5 UIndy Greyhounds (9-0, 6-0)
Saturday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m. ET, Key Stadium
ON TAP
Fresh off clinching a share of the GLVC title last weekend, the No. 5 Greyhounds look to improve on an already historic season when they host a hungry Missouri S&T team Saturday night. Fans are encouraged to wear black, as part of the university's "Black-Out" promotion.
HOUNDS vs. MINERS
UIndy has not lost in all five contests versus the Miners. Last year's meeting was the closest in the series, however, as the Hounds earned a hard-fought
16-6 win in Rolla, Mo. The UIndy defense kept its host out of the end zone all day, with receiver
Malik Higgins accounting for the game's only touchdown and
Brad Schickel added three field goals.
Missouri S&T comes into the weekend with just one conference loss, giving this year's match-up particular meaning; a win would give the Miners a chance at sharing the GLVC title, while a loss would make the Greyhounds outright champs.
The Miners are led by sophomore running back Deshawn Jones, who tops the conference in both rushing yards (1,277) and rushing TDs (11).
LAST TIME OUT
The Hounds continued their dominance over GLVC opponents with a lopsided
42-3 win at William Jewell last Saturday. After allowing a field goal on the game's opening drive, UIndy did not surrender a single point the rest of the way, just missing out on a third straight shutout.
Freshman running back Al McKeller went for 134 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while senior
Garrett Willis compiled 90 receiving yards on six grabs, including a pair of TD catches.
Jake Purichia continued his stellar play at quarterback, finishing 19 for 22 passing for 210 yards, three touchdowns and zero picks.
In addition, the Greyhounds did not punt all day, marking the first time that occurred since a 52-7 rout of McKendree in October of 2014.
D-FENSE, D-FENSE
The aforementioned field goal by William Jewell represents the only points allowed by the Greyhounds in the last 13 quarters of play. They are outscoring their GLVC opponents by an average of 42-8 per game this year, including a staggering 142-3 aggregate total the last three weeks.
PLAYOFF PICTURE
UIndy held steady at No. 2 in this week's Super Region Three rankings. Though previous-No.-1 Northwest Missouri State endured its first loss of the year last week, the Greyhounds were leapfrogged by another unbeaten team from the MIAA, Fort Hays State.

STILL STREAKIN'
With Northwest Missouri State's gaudy 38-game winning streak terminated, the Greyhounds' 13-game unbeaten run is now the longest such streak in Division II. The baker's dozen marks also marks the longest winning streak in school history, surpassing the 12-game streak set by the 1953-54 teams.
In addition, UIndy's current record of 9-0 marks the first time the program has had so many wins without a loss, surpassing the 8-0 start (and finish) of the school's 1953 undefeated team. A another victory would tie the program record for wins in a season, first set in 2012 and matched in 2013 and 2015.
RECORD WATCH
Veteran running back
Andrew Walker is wrapping up a stellar career at UIndy. Last week, the sixth-year senior became just the fifth-ever Greyhound to reach 3,000 career rushing yards. The next milestone in sight is the school's career rushing touchdown mark, with Walker needing just one score to match the record 38 rushing TDs set by Klay Fiechter (2010-13).
Other stats to keep an eye on involve quarterback
Jake Purichia, who is on pace for multiple school records. The Indy native currently leads Division II in passing efficiency (193.9) and ranks fifth in completion percentage (.711), with both numbers on track for single-season program marks. Also, his two interceptions represent the lowest total ever for a UIndy QB with at least 150 attempts.
Connor Barthel threw only four picks in 374 passes in 2015, while Chris Mills tossed four picks in 221 attempts in 2010.
