WACO, Texas – The UIndy football team moved up three spots in this week's AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, coming in at No. 15. The Greyhounds (2-0) made the jump after pulling off a last-second
31-28 win at Wayne State over the weekend.
Â
The Hounds' position in the weekly coaches poll marked their highest national ranking since earning the No. 13 spot in week 11 of 2015. UIndy's highest-ever ranking is 10th, coming in November of 2013.
Â
The top six schools in the poll remained static, with defending-national-champ Northwest Missouri State retaining the No. 1 spot after its 20-14 win at Washburn.
Â
The Greyhounds return home this weekend for the first of three consecutive home games. They'll host defending-co-GLVC-champ Southwest Baptist Sept. 16 at 6 p.m.
