BROOKFIELD, Ill. — The Don Hansen Football Committee has released the 2018 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America teams on Tuesday, with three Greyhounds appearing on the list. Offensive lineman

Al McKeller and corner back
Robert Williams each garnered All-America Honorable Mention from the respected outlet.

The Don Hansen team carries out the legacy of long-time small college football advocate Don Hansen, who passed away at age 75 on Aug. 29, 2010. Hansen, from Brookfield, Ill., started and published
Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette for three decades, selecting NCAA Division II All-America teams for the first time in 1988.
Don Hansen's Football Gazette began selecting Division II All-Region squads in 2003.

McKeller earned his second All-America nod of the year after leading the Great Lakes Valley Conference with 1,300 rushing yards and 12 rushing touchdowns. The Lawrence North High School graduate was voted the GLVC Offensive Player of the Year by the league's coaches and ranked second in the region in rushing yards per game (108.3). He also garnered All-America Honorable Mention from D2Football.com.
Â
A first-time All-American, McHale opened holes for McKeller all season long. The Cincinnati, Ohio product started all 12 games at center, leading a unit that ranked second in the nation in fewest sacks allowed, third in third-down conversion rate, eighth in passing efficiency and 18th in rushing offense.
Â
Veteran defensive back and Indy native
Robert Williams also earned All-America Honorable Mention. The senior defensive back ranked second in the GLVC in passes defended and third in interceptions. His top highlight came at the end of UIndy's first-round playoff game, as his 22-yard pick-six sealed the win versus No. 19 Fort Hays State.
