NFCA releases its 2019 Scholar-Athletes list

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Though the season has been over for nearly five months, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2019 Easton / NFCA NCAA Division II Scholar-Athletes this week. Thirteen Greyhounds earned the honor, each achieving a GPA of 3.50 or higher during the 2018-19 academic year.

UIndy's Hanna Burris, Alicia Cagney, Taylor Danielson, Kamrie Foster, Sydnie Foster, Lauren Honkomp, Frankie Kontor, Brooke Montgomery, Taylor Podschweit, Shannon Schuetz, Cathy Skaggs, Rachel Vander Wagen and Halie Waters all made the grade. They contributed to a 3.607 team GPA for the softball team in 2018-19, good for 14th in Division II.
