UIndy Greyhounds (3-0) vs. Cedarville Yellow Jackets (2-1)
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 5 pm ET.
ON TAP
The UIndy women's basketball team puts their 3-0 record on the line Wednesday as the Hounds welcome Cedarville to Nicoson Hall. It will be the first time since 2015 that the Yellow Jackets come to the southside to go up against the Greyhounds as UIndy owns the all-time series against Cedarville, 4-2.
HOUNDS vs. YELLOW JACKETS
When UIndy and Cedarville meet Wednesday night, it'll be just the seventh meeting all-time between the two schools. The Greyhounds won the first two games against the Yellow Jackets dating back to their first meeting in 2011 as Cedarville has taken the last two matchups against UIndy, both games being in Cedarville.
ABOUT CEDARVILLE
UIndy will be Cedarville's second and final GLVC opponent on their non-conference schedule this season. The Yellow Jackets went up against Bellarmine during the first weekend of games down in Louisville. The Knights fell at home as Cedarville held the Bellarmine to under 40% shoting from the field that game to pick up their first win of the 2019-20 season.
After going 22-6 in the regular season last year, Cedarville made it to the second round of the G-MAC tournament before falling to Kentucky Wesleyan to end their season. This year, the Yellow Jackets were picked to finish 3rd in the G-MAC by conference coaches. Cedarville is led by four players who average double-digit scoring this year, led by senior guard Abby Wolford who puts up just over 19 points per contest this season.
LAST TIME OUT
UIndy picked up a win last Friday night in their home opener over Davenport. UIndy moved to 7-1 under Coach Wodrich when scoring 80 or more points in a game. It was also the team's first win under Coach Wodrich when allowing 80 or more points when they defeated the Panthers 89-86.
WODRICH vs. G-MAC
Kristin Wodrich once again loaded her team's non-conference schedule with in-region games. The Hounds have already racked up two wins against G-MAC schools this year, beating Alderson Broaddus and Malone to start the year. UIndy boasts an 8-2 record against current G-MAC schools since Wodrich took over the UIndy program back in 2017.
WINDEXING THE GLASS
Senior
Emma Benoit owned the glass Friday night in the team's win over Davenport. The senior forward would not be denied down low as she pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds in the win over Davenport. Benoit finished one rebound shy of tying a nearly 40 year record. UIndy as a team came down with 62 rebounds, their most in a single game since January 2013 in a 57-40 win over William Jewell.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
UIndy's hot start has them at the top of many categories in the GLVC, but the Hounds rank in the top-20 in five categories nationally. UIndy's top ranking is fourth in the nation in rebounding margin with a +21.7 margin. Other notable rankings for  the Greyhounds include defensive rebounds per game (11th), field-goal percentage (16th), rebounds per game (17th), and blocked shots per game (19th).
