INDIANAPOLIS- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its final fall rankings for both individuals and doubles teams, with Greyhounds represented in both singles and doubles on both the men's and women's teams.
For the Greyhound men, the ITA Super Bowl Champion duo of
Dario Huber and
Renato Lima top the NCAA Division II doubles rankings. Huber comes in at #8 nationally in the singles rankings, with Lima at #12 in the singles listing.
Huber and Lima also top the Midwest Region doubles ranking, with Huber ranked as the top singles player in the region. Lima is currently in the #3 spot in the region singles poll.
The women are highlighted by
Nikol Alekseeva in the #2 spot in the singles Top 50.
Alina Kislitskaya comes in at #20, followed closely by
Anna Novikova at #24. In the doubles listing, Alekseeva and Novikova close out the fall as the nation's #3 doubles squad, with Kislitskaya and
Maria Solnyshkina also making the list at #11.
In the region, UIndy women represent four of the top eight spots in singles, led by Alekseeva who is the #1 singles player in the Midwest Region. Kislitskaya takes the #2 spot, followed by Novikova at #3.
Maja Pindelska is the #8 singles player in the Midwest Region poll, with Solnyshkina rounding out the Greyhound singles players at #14. Alekseeva and Novikova represent the #2 doubles duo in the Midwest Region, with Kislitskaya and Solnyshkina coming in as the #3 doubles pair.Â
