INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy volleyball team maintained its regional positioning in the final set of rankings that were released on Wednesday afternoon. The Greyhounds will enter their 20th straight GLVC Championship Tournament as the eighth-ranked team in the Midwest Region.

The eight teams that earn a big to the 2019 NCAA tournament will be announced Monday night at 7:30 p.m. on NCAA.com. Three automatic qualifiers, as well as five at-large selections, will make up the eight-team field.

UIndy wrapped up the regular season last weekend, earning its first 20-win season since 2013. The Greyhounds will face Drury in a quarterfinal match on Friday evening in East Peoria, Ill. on the first day of the league's postseason tournament.

Lewis maintains its top spot in the region, with Missouri-St. Louis (third) and Rockhurst (sixth) also staying put in this week's rankings.
