ON TAP
After losing a pair of games last weekend at home, UIndy wraps up their home schedule this weekend. The Greyhounds host Maryville this Thursday night before Missouri-St. Louis comes to Nicoson Hall Saturday afternoon when UIndy holds its senior day festivities.

HOUNDS vs. SAINTS
UIndy and Maryville met only once last season and it came inside Nicoson Hall. UIndy led the Saints at halftime after shooting 50% from the field in the first half, but Maryville came out the second half shooting 50% while going 18-for-19 from the line. The Saints outscored the Hounds 41-29 in the second half alone to come away with an eight-point win. In their win, four of Maryville's starters finished in double figures while also having a reserve come off the bench for 10 points. The Greyhounds only had one of their starters in double figures and one reserve came in and finished with 10 points as well. UIndy only got to the line 14 times in the game while Maryville had 24 trips to the stripe.

ABOUT MARYVILLE
The Saints come into Thursday's game winners of three of their last four games with their lone loss coming to No. 1 ranked Drury. The Saints are also in the midst of a four-game road trip before finishing the season with three-straight home games. In their last game, Maryville went into Rolla and took down Missouri S&T. Against the Miners, S&T actually shot better from the field but Maryville forced 22 S&T turnovers and got 27 points from their bench to come away with the six-point win.

Maryville currently has three players averaging double-figures in scoring this year, all three have started in every game they have played in this year for the Saints. The Saints are led by one of the conference's-best when it comes to scoring in Mary Barton. Barton ranks fourth in the conference in scoring at 15.2 points per game. Maryville is one of the best in the GLVC when it comes to cleaning up the offensive glass. The Saints come into this week's game grabbing over 13 offensive boards per game, good for third in the league.

HOUNDS vs. TRITONS
UIndy traveled to St. Louis last season to face UMSL. Their short road trip that week did not go well when visiting the River City, losing to the Tritons in the lone meeting of the two teams last season. Martha Burse and Taylor Drury combined for 48 of UIndy's 63 points in the loss. Drury had one of the best shooting games of her freshman season against UMSL shooting over 64% from the field, but the Tritons as a team shot over 51% from the field and 40% from deep to take down the Hounds by a score of 79-63.

ABOUT MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS
Before coming to Indianapolis for their game with the Greyhounds Saturday afternoon, the Tritons will first travel north to Romeoville, Ill., to face Lewis on Thursday night. The Tritons entered last week on a three-game winning streak before falling to Missouri S&T Thursday night and then to No. 1 Drury Saturday afternoon. In their game against Drury, UMSL was held in-check from deep, only shooting 17% from three-point range against the Panthers.

Senior guard Arielle Jackson leads the Tritons in scoring at almost 15 points a night, shooting over 40% from the field on the year. The Tritons do have the conference-leader in rebounder down low in Alex LaPorta. In her sophomore season, LaPorta is the only double-digit rebounder in the league at 10.4 boards per game. LaPorta had recorded double-digit rebounds in 13 games this season, eight of those games finishing with a double-double.
THREE HEADED SCORING MONSTER
Taylor Drury, Laura Thomas, and Emma Benoit all rank top 12 in the GLVC in points per game this season. Thomas ranks 8th with 14.4 PPG, Drury checks in at 10th in the conference at 13.4 points per game, and Benoit's 13.0 PPG is good for 12th in the league.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
Emma Benoit has been a force down low for the Hounds this year. The Northern Michigan transfer has recorded six double-doubles this season for UIndy. Benoit went for back-to-back double-doubles two weeks ago against McKendree and Illinois Springfield, averaging 18 points and 11 boards on the weekend.

ALL FOR CHARITY
UIndy ranks second in the GLVC in free-throw percentage, making 75.2% of their attempts so far this season. This season's 75.2% is up almost 2% from last year when UIndy shot 73.3% from the foul line. UIndy's 75.2% is also one of the best in DII, ranking 26th in the country. Junior Laura Thomas is the lone Greyhound inside the top-15 of the conference in free-throw percentage, Thomas ranks sixth at 84.3% (minimum two made free throws per game).

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
After four of their first five conference games were against ranked teams, the Greyhounds can breathe a sigh of relief that the toughest portion of their conference schedule is over. Of their remaining conference games, only two games are against teams who currently have a winning record in GLVC play including one this week against Southern Indiana. After USI, UIndy only has three more games against teams with winning records in conference play to close out the regular season.

MAKING IT RAIN
The Greyhounds as a whole are shooting from beyond the arc much better than they did a year ago. Last season, UIndy was shooting 27.5% from deep, they were shooting over 40% from deep for much of this season, but still sit near 35% from three-point range this season. Two Hounds are near the top in two three-point shooting categories in the GLVC. Taylor Drury ranks three in the league in almost three made triples a game, shooting 39.2% from deep (8th in GLVC). Freshman Katie Sowa is seventh in the GLVC in three-point percentage shooting 40.4% from beyond the arc.

RE-WRITING THE RECORD BOOKS
During her double-double against Rockhurst two weeks ago, junior Emma Benoit broke a 10-year old program record by going 15-of-15 from the free throw line. Benoit broke the previous record held by Samantha Meissel when she went 13-for-13 from the line in February of 2008. Benoit's 100% performance from the line also raised her free throw average by over 7%, putting her at 65.5% on the season.

CLEANING UP THE GLASS
UIndy has made a huge leap in rebounding this season compared to last year. Last year the Hounds rebounding margin was a -3.5 on the season. Despite losing the rebounding battle both games last week, UIndy's rebounding margin still sits at 1.8 on the season.
