NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honorees for the 2019 NCAA Division II indoor track & field season, with five Greyhounds appearing in the release. Senior
DeAndre Bluitt (high jump),
Keri Ertel (60m hurdles),
Austin Hogan (shot put),
Katie Monk (shot put, weight throw) and
Hilary Paxson (weight throw) all made the exclusive list.

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top three relay teams. The eight regions include the Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West.

All five of UIndy's all-region honorees captured at least one gold medal in the recently-completed
Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships. The Greyhound men set a league record by capturing their sixth GLVC indoor crown, while the UIndy women nearly made it two conference championship before settling for runner-up by the smallest margin in GLVC Indoor Championships history.

The 2018-19 indoor season concludes next week with 2019 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships, set for March 8-9 in Pittsburg, Kan. Four student-athletes will be
