INDIANAPOLIS – The inaugural batch of regional rankings came out Wednesday afternoon, the UIndy baseball team appeared at No. 8 in this season's first set of regional rankings. The Greyhounds currently sit on a 28-16 record on the season including a 17-10 mark in GLVC play.

The Greyhounds have won five of their last seven games, including a pair of wins over Purdue Northwest yesterday afternoon at Greyhound Park. Three of UIndy's games last week came against GLVC opponents, combining for 50 runs in their three game series at Truman last weekend.

Four Hounds are batting over .300 on the year, including UIndy's all-time leader in doubles
Macy Holdsworth. Holdsworth's .388 average has earned him 123 total bases this season, followed closely behind by fellow senior
Kyle Orloff. Holdsworth and Orloff each have nine home runs on the year, tied for first on the team with first baseman
Tyler Phillips.
