WACO, Texas – The undefeated UIndy football team (4-0, 2-0 GLVC) continued its ascent of the AFCA DII Coaches Poll, inching up one spot to No. 11 this week. The ranking matches its highest position in the weekly poll since November of 2017.
The Greyhounds kept their record unblemished Saturday with a
49-6 Homecoming win versus Southwest Baptist last Saturday. After starting the year at No. 16 in the preseason poll, the Hounds have moved up each of the last four weeks. This week's bump was aided by a loss by Texas A&M-Commerce, who dropped to No. 21 after falling to then-10th-ranked Colorado State-Pueblo over the weekend.
UIndy remains the only GLVC team in the top 25, though Truman State University is receiving votes. The Hounds are one of eight Super Region Three squads in the rankings, topped by No. 2 Ferris State.
