ON TAP
The UIndy women's basketball team begins a stretch of three games in six days, starting with a home contest against GLVC newcomer Lindenwood Thursday night. Then for the second-straight week they make the trip down I-70 east, this time all the way to St. Louis to face Missouri-St. Louis Saturday afternoon.

HOUNDS vs. LIONS
The first matchup between the two programs will take place in Nicoson Hall Thursday night. The former MIAA school came over to the GLVC for this academic year and has given the Hounds plenty of good competition across all sports since joining.

ABOUT LINDENWOOD
The Lions were ranked just a few weeks ago, ranked as high as No. 25 by the WBCA. Lindenwood jumped out to a 5-0 record before dropping a pair of contests in Florida just before Christmas. The beginning of the GLVC schedule went well for the Lions, leading off their time in the GLVC with wins over Quincy and UMSL, before going 2-2 in their last four conference tilts.

No stranger to scoring, the Lions are third in the conference this season in scoring offense, averaging over 75 points per game so far this season. Lindenwood's starting five all average double-digit points per game this season, putting them all in the top-30 in the conference in scoring. The Lions are led in both scoring and rebounding by senior forward Kallie Bildner who averages nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds a night. Bildner is just one of two GLVC players to average a double-double this season, joining Missouri S&T's Mykala Baylor.

HOUNDS vs. TRITONS
UIndy and UMSL met just once a season ago, coming in Nicoson Hall as the Hounds beat the Tritons 66-63 on Senior Day. The Greyhounds had three finish in double figures that game. Emma Benoit led the way with 15 points in a double-double effort. Taylor Drury and Laura Thomas chipped in with 13 each in the victory as UMSL barely shot over 35% in the game.

ABOUT MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS
UMSL started their year off with a loss at home to No. 3 ranked Grand Valley State. The Tritons followed it up with a pair of common opponents with the Greyhounds, beating both Davenport and Purdue Northwest with the win over the Pride coming on the road in Hammond. GLVC played has not started off on the same foot for UMSL though, starting 1-4 in conference play with their win coming against Missouri S&T just after the New Year.

Scoring just over 60 points per game this season, the Tritons have just two players averaging over 10 points this season. Senior guard Laura Szorenyi leads the way for UMSL, putting 12 points per game on 37% shooting from the field. Down low, the Tritons present a familiar face to the Greyhounds in Alex LaPorta. The six-foot tall junior put up a double-double against UIndy last season in Nicoson Hall on her way to being a second-team All-GLVC selection.

BEING EFFICIENT
UIndy's 7.5 scoring margin in good for 3rd in the GLVC, but the Greyhounds have bucked the three-point trend on their way to winning. The three-point shot has become a big part across basketball in past years. Despite a 10-3 record, UIndy's offense has come from inside the arc as the Hounds rank 298th in Division II in three-pointers attempted as the Hounds sport an efficient offense.

HOT START
With the Greyhounds' win over McKendree last Saturday, the Hounds got their 10th win of the season. The team's 10th win in early January is the earliest since the 2011-12 season the Greyhounds have earned double-digit wins.

SEEING DOUBLE
UIndy has seen success so far this season, proving to have one of the better frontcourts in the region. The front court of Emma Benoit, Dasia Evans, and McKenzy Telfair have combined for four double-doubles so far this season. Benoit was the first one of the year when she went for 16 points and 20 rebounds against Davenport. Telfair was the most recent one, scoring 11 points in the team's win over UIS while recording a career-high 11 rebounds in the win.

PLAYING BOTH ENDS
The Greyhounds efficient offense has them as one of the best teams in the GLVC in terms of field goal percentage this season, shooting at a 45.2% clip. UIndy also gets in done on the defensive end, holding their opponents to 35.6% shooting, tops in the GLVC. The Greyhounds are the only team to rank top-5 in both categories.

LOCKDOWN D
UIndy has been consistently holding their opponents in tact this season including in the three games they have lost. The Hounds are just one of four GLVC teams this season to hold each of their opponents under 50% shooting in every game this season.

SWAT TEAM
The Hounds lead the GLVC in blocks this year, totaling 65 rejections on the season. The 65 blocks tops the conference but also ranks the team 10th in the country in blocks per game this year at five swats a game. Emma Benoit leads the way with 21 blocks while McKenzy Telfair trails Benoit by just two with 19 blocks this year. Both Benoit and Telfair are top 10 in the conference in blocks in the GLVC.

CALL IN THE RESERVES
One of the strengths so far for the Greyhounds this season has been the help from their bench. After losing only two to graduation and one to a transfer after last year, plenty of experience returned for Kristin Wodrich this year. The Hounds only have one player who ranks in the top 20 of the conference in minutes played this season with Laura Thomas playing just over 30 minutes a game.

GREEN LIGHT FROM DOWNTOWN
Freshman Marissa Knobloch came off the bench against Southern Indiana last week and immediately made an impact on the game. The Marengo, Ill. native missed her first attempt from deep but did not let that detour her from shooting when presented the opportunity. Knobloch went on to drain three triples in the half, the most she has made in a game in her brief collegiate career.

CLEANING THE GLASS
Having one of the best front courts in the region has paid off for the Greyhounds this season. The team's +7.7 rebounding differential is good for second in the GLVC, but UIndy has not lost a game this year when they out-rebound their opponent, going 8-0 in those games.

ROAD WARRIORS
The Greyhounds join undefeated and No. 1 nationally-ranked Drury as the only two GLVC teams who have not lost a game on the road this season. Both the Hounds and the Panthers sport a 3-0 record on the road during their 2019-20 campaigns. Drury is scheduled to come to Nicoson Hall next Thursday, January 23rd.

LAST TIME OUT
After dropping their last two contests to McKendree down the stretch, the Hounds were able to avenge those losses last Saturday, picking up their first win in Lebanon since 2017. Senior guard Mickey Sasson had a career game, going for a personal best 12 points while her sister, Shira, drained her first-career three in the win. The UIndy defense forced a season-high 25 turnovers
