ST. LOUIS, Mo. - After sweeping DIII Washington on Saturday, the No. 4 UIndy women's tennis team continued their dominance on Sunday by sweeping GLVC foe and 20th-ranked Southwest Baptist. The Greyhounds left four unfinished matches during the competition after garnering the win.

The first doubles match to finish on the day was­ the squad of Anna Valiaeva and Maja Pindelska, taking down Dana Cabrera and Sarah Brown on a final score of 6-2. The No. 3 doubles team in Division II of Nikol Alekseeva and Anna Novikova battled it out with DII's No. 5 team of Jill van Den Dungen and Catarina Zheng, taking the point for the Greyhounds on a final score of 6-4. The match between the No. 11 team of Alina Kislitskaya and Maria Solnyshkina and SBU's team of Dona Abohabaga and Constanca Crespo was left unfinished at 4-5 in favor of SBU.

The Greyhounds clinched the meet with their top three matches, starting with the conclusion of DII's No. 24 singles player Novikova and Abohabaga's match. Novikova dominated in the matchup 6-2, 6-2. UIndy's No. 3 Alekseeva took down SBU's No. 5 van Den Dungen in quick fashion, sealing UIndy's second win on a final score of 6-2, 6-3.

The match was finalized by No. 11 Kislitskaya's victory over Crespo, putting down a clinching score of 7-6 (1), 6-2. With the Greyhounds clinching the team victory, the other three singles matches were left unfinished without a score.

The Greyhounds will look ahead to a week from today in a matchup against DI Bowling Green State at the UIndy Tennis Center. The match on Feb. 23 will be the final duel meet before the ITA Indoor Championships in Edmond, Okla.
