ON TAP
The UIndy women's basketball team hits the road after spending last weekend at home. The Hounds will travel to Missouri for a pair of games, starting with Maryville before rounding out the trip against Missouri S&T.

HOUNDS vs. SAINTS
UIndy and Maryville met just once last season, coming in Nicoson Hall during the middle of conference play. In that mid-February matchup, the Saints had a lower shooting percentage than the Hounds, but made more triples and free throws than the hosts to earn themselves a 15 point win on the road. Taylor Drury finished with a career-high 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting including three treys from beyond the arc. Thursday's meeting will be the 11th meeting between the two programs, each team has five wins in the all-time series.

ABOUT MARYVILLE
The Saints come into this weekend after splitting their weekend, beating Lewis on their home floor before falling to Illinois Springfield in the back half of their road trip. The Saints are one of the best teams when it comes to shooting from beyond the arc. The Saints are fourth in the GLVC, shooting the deep ball at a 35.5 percent clip, while the Greyhounds are one of the best at defending the triple, holding their opponents to just over 30 percent shooting from deep this season, third in the conference.

The Saints offense features the conference's top scorer in Mary Barton. The senior guard averages nearly 24 points a night which ranks her sixth in all of D-II. While she is one of the top scorer in the GLVC, Barton also ranks towards the top in assists in the conference, dishing out over four dimes a game. Barton's fellow senior Abby Monis ranks top-10 in the GLVC in terms of rebounding, grabbing almost nine rebounds a night.

HOUNDS vs. MINERS
Another team UIndy saw just once last season, this meeting will mark three-straight trips to Rolla to face S&T. While the Greyhounds struggled last time they met with the Miners, they won their meeting prior with S&T with a career-game from Claire Carlton. A sophomore at the time, Carlton recorded her first double-double of her career with a 20 points performance on 5-for-8 shooting, knocking down four triples and all six of her free throws, and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 72-65 road win.

ABOUT MISSOURI S&T
Currently in the middle of an eight game losing streak, the Miners will face Bellarmine at home before UIndy pays them a visit. The Miners give up an average of 76 points a game this season, the most in the GLVC, allowing their opponents to shoot over 41 percent on average.

Four Miners average double figure scoring with their top two scorers, Laura Rodriguez and Mykala Baylor, both in top-20 in scoring in the GLVC. Baylor is just one of two players in the GLVC to average a double-double. On top of scoring nearly 13 points a game, Baylor grabs over 11 rebounds a night, second in the GLVC.

TONIGHT WE BOUNCE BACK
At a 17-7 mark this year, the Greyhounds are beating their opponents by an average of nearly five points per game. But it is how they Greyhounds play after losing their game prior that has been crucial for them all year. UIndy is 6-0 after coming off a loss their last time out, winning their next game by 10 points on average.

SEEING DOUBLE
UIndy has seen success so far this season, proving to have one of the better frontcourts in the region. The front court of Emma Benoit, Dasia Evans, and McKenzy Telfair have combined for four double-doubles so far this season. Benoit was the first one of the year when she went for 16 points and 20 rebounds against Davenport and she is also the most recent one going for 22 and 12 two weeks ago against William Jewell.

PLAYING BOTH ENDS
The Greyhounds efficient offense has them as one of the best teams in the GLVC in terms of field goal percentage this season, shooting at a 43.6 percent clip. UIndy also gets in done on the defensive end, holding their opponents to 36.4 percent shooting, tops in the GLVC.

LOCKDOWN D
UIndy has been consistently holding their opponents in tact this season including in the three games they have lost. The Hounds the only GLVC team to hold each of their opponents under 50 percent shooting every game this season.

MIDSEASON DEPTH
Two Greyhounds saw extended playing time in the win over Quincy Thursday night after Shira Sasson was taken out of the UIndy lineup with an injury hours before the game. Sophomore Mya Scheidt played a career-high 19 minutes in the win, filling up the stat sheet with three points, four boards, and four dimes. Junior Taylor Drury chipped in a season-best 10 points off the bench on 4-of-5 shooting.

OWNING THE BOARDS
The Greyhounds dominated the glass against Quincy in last Thursday's win, out-rebounding the Hawks by 19. It was the second game this season that UIndy has amassed 50 rebounds in a game, they had a season-high 62 rebounds back in November against Davenport. The 50 rebounds in a GLVC game is the most in almost seven years when they recorded 51 rebounds in a win against St. Joe's in 2013.

REGIONAL TIME
As the end of the year winds down, this Wednesday will mark the first set of regional rankings to come out for the 2019-20 season. The Greyhounds currently sit fifth in the GLVC PRS rankings used to determine seeding for the conference tournament. Three of UIndy's final four regular seaosn games are on the road, giving them a chance to beef up their resume as the postseason approaches.

LAST TIME OUT
After holding Quincy to just 14 points in the entire second half in a comeback win Thursday night in Nicoson Hall, the Hounds had a tough test against the conference's third best team in Truman Saturday afternoon. The UIndy offense struggled to get going against the Bulldogs defense after forcing 19 Truman turnovers in a losing effort.
