INDIANAPOLIS – Two members of the UIndy women's basketball team earned All-GLVC honors Wednesday afternoon with senior guard Laura Thomas being the program's first first-team All-GLVC selection since Martha Burse in 2017-18.
 
Joining Thomas on the All-GLVC teams was junior forward McKenzy Telfair. The Indiana State transfer was named to the league's third team as voted on by conference coaches.
 
After being named a third-teamer last season, Thomas is the only member of that third-team to be named first-team this year. Starting every game in 2019-20, the Northern Kentucky transfer averaged 16 points per game this year, ranking eighth in the GLVC. Thomas amassed 20 points eight time during her senior campaign, highlighted by a career-high 37 points in her team's comeback win at Missouri S&T. Her 37 points is tied for third most points in a game by an individual.
 
Telfair made an instant impact in her first season with the Hounds. The Indianapolis-native only missed two games this year, making 20 starts. Making her presence felt on both ends, Telfair finished third on the team in scoring but came in second in both steals and blocks for the Greyhounds this season.
