INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy tennis programs both appear in the top 15 in NCAA Division II in the latest edition of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Rankings.
The Greyhound women came in at #5 in the Top 25 Coaches Poll, down from their #4 spot previously. In addition, UIndy is the top team in the Midwest Region, and also features the top three singles players in the Midwest Region. Nikol Alexeeva,
Anna Novikova,
Alina Kislitskaya come in at one, two and three, respectively, while
Maja Pindelska comes in at #8 and
Maria Solnyshkina comes in at #15. On the doubles court, Alexeeva and Novikova top the Midwest Region, while Kislitskaya and Solnyshkina come in as the #4 duo.
On the men's side, the Greyhounds come in at #14 in the Top 25 as a team. Also the top team in the Midwest Region, two of the top three singles individuals also come from UIndy.
Dario Huber reigns as the top singles player in the Midwest Region, with
Renato Lima coming in as the #3 player in the region. The duo of Huber and Lima, the 2019 ITA Super Bowl doubles champions, still hold the top spot in the region on the doubles court.
