GILBERT, Ariz. – The UIndy men's tennis team were named the No. 1 team in the Midwest Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The Greyhounds are fresh off winning their third straight GLVC title and making another deep NCAA Tournament run.
 
The Hounds also recently garnered the No. 9 spot in the final ITA Division II rankings. Individually, David Simeonov was named the Midwest Region's Most Improved Player of the Year and Tadeo Gaggiofatto was tabbed as the ITA's Midwest Player to Watch. Furthermore, Asier Ayllon Prado was voted the GLVC Freshman of the Year, while he and Simeonov were joined by Matthieu Derache on the All-GLVC First Team.
