As part of our coverage in these unprecedented times, UIndyAthletics.com will highlight select senior student-athletes for the rest of the semester. Today we get to know baseball pitcher Anthony Vlahovic.
Â

After bouncing from Division I Eastern Michigan University as a freshman to DII Chestnut Hill College in Philly for two years, Anthony found a home at UIndy. The New Hope, Pa., native has been a key part of the Greyhound baseball team for the last two seasons and has been a model student-athlete. An Academic All-GLVC honoree, Anthony recently earned his bachelor's in communications and hopes to continue his baseball career as a professional.

What's your most memorable athletic moment as a Greyhound?
"After redshirting for transfer rules, I was being able to come out this season and wear a greyhound uniform at home in a win. And walking out to the mound to Tony Montana by Future."
What makes UIndy special to you?
"Everyone at UIndy from the coaching staff from the players welcomed me in with open arms after moving from Philadelphia to come here. The athletic department turned this into a second home for me and I made some amazing relationships with my teammates."
