INDIANAPOLIS – After a 11-11 season in 2020-21 the University of Indianapolis women's Basketball team returns to action on Friday afternoon when they head to Assembly Hall in Bloomington to face the No. 8 ranked Indiana Hoosiers to kick off their season.
The Hounds will return almost a full squad, including 2021 First Team All-GLVC selection
Taylor Drury and Second Team member
Mickey Sasson. Drury and Sasson led the Hounds in points per game with 16.7 and 11.8, and in rebounds per game with Sasson averaging 6.9 and Drury averaging 6.0.
UIndy will add the depth of Freshmen,
Liv Becker and
Elana Wells, along with GLIAC standout,
Madison Jones, who transferred from Davenport after averaging an even 16 points per game.
