INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy cross country program, two weeks past the GLVC Championships, has another test on its plate with the upcoming NCAA DII Midwest Regional. Set for this Saturday, Nov. 6, the University of Southern Indiana is hosting the meet at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind. The racing kicks off with the women's 6K at 11:30 a.m. ET, followed by the men's 10K at 12:45 p.m.

The Hounds are coming off a pair of fifth-place finishes at the aforementioned conference meet. They were led by All-GLVC performances from Claire Eaton and AJ Goecker.

The top three teams in both the men's and women's races will advance to 2021 NCAA DII Championships, set for Nov. 20 in St. Leo, Fla. The top two individuals not on an advancing team will also advance alongside all top-five finishers. Furthermore, additional advancing teams earning at-large bids will be announced on NCAA.com on Monday, Nov. 8.
