ALLENDALE, Mich. – UIndy senior
Lauren Bailey earned All-America honors Thursday night at the NCAA DII Outdoor Championships, placing eighth in the 10,000-meter race with a time of 34:17.41. Competing in her final race as a Greyhound, Bailey collected her first career outdoor All-America award and fourth NCAA All-America nod overall*.

Bailey capped a stellar collegiate career Thursday, notching her third track & field All-America honor of the 2020-21 academic year. The reigning
indoor national champ in the 5,000 meter, she became the first-ever Greyhound to earn All-America honors in the 10K as well as just the fifth UIndy woman to finish in the top eight in a track event (i.e. non-field) at the national meet.

Action continues tomorrow in Allendale, Mich., when junior
Ben Nagel takes the track for the 800-meter prelims. The starting gun is scheduled to fire at 3:05 p.m. ET.
