INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis women's basketball team announced it's complete 28-game regular season schedule on Tuesday that is complete with 13 home matchups' including four non-conference opponents.
"We have been waiting for over a year to get a full schedule again and couldn't be more excited." Head Coach
Kristin Wodrich said.
Along with a trip to Bloomington for an exhibition against BIG 10 opponent, Indiana. The Hounds and Hoosiers matchup kicks off the Hounds season on Friday, Nov 5.
The Greyhounds then travel Canton, OH where they will face Malone for their regular season debut on Friday, Nov 12, followed by a trip to Ashland on Saturday, Nov 13.
The opening homestand will be a Thursday night matchup against GLIAC-foe, Northwood on Nov 18. The Hounds face back-to-back Indiana rivals prior to their winter holiday break when they travel to Purdue Northwest on Saturday, Dec 18 and then host Indiana-Kokomo on Monday, Dec 20.
"The GLVC is a tough conference to play so playing tough competition in non-conference is important," Wodrich noted
For GLVC play, UIndy will travel to 10 matchups, including conference opener against GLVC-Rival Southern Indiana on Monday, Nov 29, and host 10 of the conference games.
"The players have been working hard this summer and are ready to go!"
