INDIANAPOLIS—On the strength of a 6-1 record versus Division II opponents, the UIndy football team grabbed the No. 7 spot in this week in the Super Region 3 rankings. The Greyhounds trail four undefeated teams, a one-loss Ferris State squad and GLVC-rival Truman. The region's top seven teams will qualify for the Division II playoffs, with the field announced on Sunday, November 13.

The Greyhounds are looking to make their seventh playoff appearance since 2012. They last earned a spot in the 2019 bracket, falling in the first round at Central Missouri. UIndy has amassed three postseason wins all-time, including a second-round appearance in '18.
