LONG BEACH, Calif. – The University of Indianapolis women's tennis team concluded it's spring break trip with a win over Long Beach State, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon in the Rhodes Tennis Center in Long Beach.

The Hounds jumped out early with a 6-3 doubles win by Maissane Aik and Maria Solnyskina who were the first to finish, while Isabella Dunlap and Sofia Sharonova secured the Hounds duo point with a 6-4 win. Anna Novikova and Arina Amaning did not finish their match.

In singles, Amaning was the first to take the point with a 6-3, 6-2 win. Followed by Novikova in the No. 2 spot who won 6-4, 6-3. Finally it was Maria Solnyshkina who would secure the Greyhounds win.

Kristina Lagoda also won a close singles match, 5-7,6-2, and 6-2. Isabella Dunlap and Maissane Aik both faced losses in the solo matches.
