LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The UIndy softball team continued its ascent of the NFCA Division II Coaches Poll this week. In the latest edition, the Greyhounds climbed one spot to No. 2, their highest position since they topped the poll back in April of 2016.
Winner of 17 of its last 18 games, UIndy has risen above all except UT Tyler, the unanimous No. 1. Elsewhere, in-state and GLVC-rival Southern Indiana moved up to No. 16, while fellow-Midwest-power Grand Valley State sits in 21st.
