INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's basketball head coach Paul Corsaro has announced the signing of three players to his 2022-23 roster. Jarvis Walker II, Bruno Williams and Ajay Holubar will join the Greyhounds this upcoming season.
Jarvis Walker II comes to UIndy from Purdue Fort Wayne. The 6'3'' guard native played in 51 games for the Mastodons and scored a career-high 18 points against Michigan-Dearborn last year. He helped Purdue Fort Wayne to a share of the Horizon League Regular Season title last season after boasting a shooting percentage of 40% from three-point range. A graduate of Muskegon High School, Walker was a two-time District Champions with the Big Reds, compiling a 40-6 record in his final two seasons and finishing with 1,518 career points. The son of Jarvis and Danielle Walker, he plans to study History and Education.
Bruno Williams joins the Greyhounds from GLVC foe Lewis University. Last season the Milwaukee, WI native brought home All-GLVC Second-Team honors after averaging 12.1 points per outing. The 6'4'' guard/forward was second on the Flyers with 30 steals on the year and third with 51 assists. He started all 27 regular season games last year and scored double figures in 18 games. Ironically, he scored a career-high 22 points against UIndy in December. Williams will study Sports Management.
Local product Ajay Holubar graduated from Center Grove High School where he was a three-time County Champion, two-time Sectional Champion and one-time Regional Champion. The 6'3'' team captain was a four-time Academic All-Conference honoree along with a recipient of the Sixth Man Award. The son of former Greyhounds Angi (Lelenko) and Bart Holubar, Ajay plans to study Finance.
The trio brings Corsaro's class of 2022 to five after signing Sean Craig and Shon Tupuola this past fall. The Hounds announced their 2022-23 schedule last week.
