LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Coming off its 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament berth and third straight 40-win campaign in as many full seasons, the UIndy softball team settled at No. 19 in the year's final National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division II Poll, released Tuesday. The Greyhounds finished the season with a 48-10 mark, earning runner-up honors at the GLVC Tournament as well as an NCAA Tournament victory.
The announcement marks the Hounds' eighth appearance in the season's final coaches poll since 2012. UIndy spent the majority of this spring ranked in the top five, topping out at No. 2 in late April.
