INDIANAPOLIS – Winners of eight out of the last 11 games, the University of Indianapolis women's basketball team is set to cap off the 2022-23 regular season this week on the road in some final GLVC action. The squad will battle Missouri-St. Louis on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET and then Missouri S&T on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.

Entering Thursday, the Hounds will be riding a 15-11 overall record (11-7Â GLVC) while UMSL holds a 9-15 overall mark (7-11Â GLVC). The Tritons have lost their last three contests. As for Missouri S&T, the Miners will host Lewis on Thursday with a 15-11 overall record (11-7 GLVC) and are winners of their last four.

Earlier this season on Jan. 12, the Hounds fell to Missouri S&T at Nicoson Hall by a final of 72-67. Despite this, UIndy proceeded to take down UMSL a few days later at home by a score of 58-53.

UIndy is led in scoring this season by
Sadie Hill who averages 14.8 points per game to go along with a 7.3 rebounds per game average. In the last outing against Southwest Baptist on Senior Day, Hill scored her UIndy career high of 32 points in the win. As a team, the Hounds have used the fact they are one of the top free throw shooting teams in the conference to their advantage.
