LEXINGTON, Ky.—The UIndy men's golf team took on 20 fellow-Midwest Region teams at the SVSU Spring Invitational, held at Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, Ky., Saturday and Sunday. Battling frost delays and cold temperatures throughout the weekend, the Greyhounds finished the 36-hole event at +27, two strokes back of seventh-place Wisconsin-Parkside.

Senior
Ethan Stanley paced the Hounds with a consistent output of 74-74, good for a score of +4 and a share of 20th in the 124-man field. The Bedford, Ind., native had five birdies on the weekend, as well as a round-one eagle on the par-five 14th.

Graduate student
Jacob Nickell rebounded from a rocky first round to card an even-par 72 Sunday, climbing 34 spots to 46th place. Both
Cam Carroll and
Bryce Robertson carded identical scores of 77-76 to tie for 54th, while freshman
Owen Kruschwitz, in his lineup debut, finished at +13.

Noah Wolfe (+9) and
Drew Rowen (+24) made the trip as individuals. Wolfe fired four birdies on the front nine on Sunday to card a final-round 74 and settle in 54th place.

UP NEXT
The Greyhounds will battle another group of region foes at the upcoming Findlay Spring Invitational March 27-28. This tournament will be held in Lexington as well, though at the nearby University Club of Kentucky.
