NORMAN, Okla. – The UIndy men's golf team was honored on the 2024-25 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipient list, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.
Along with being recognized on the list, UIndy also received Presidents Special Recognition for having an average team GPA of 3.5 or above. The Hounds were one of a GCAA record, 292 schools across the six NCAA Divisions, to earn honors on the Platform Golf Team Academic Award list.
UIndy was only one of 19 Division II schools on the Presidents Special Recognition list, including being only one of three GLVC schools on the list, Missouri S&T and UMSL being the other two.
The Hounds begin their season on Sept. 15 at the Folds of Honor Challenge in Allendale, Mich. at The Meadows Golf Club.
