PERU, Ind.— The UIndy men's golf team begins postseason play on Wednesday, as they head to Rock Hollow Golf Club for the 2026 GLVC Championships. The 13-team tournament will take place Wednesday through Friday, April 22-24.
The start of action features a 54-hole stroke play event where the individual medalist will be awarded. The top-four teams after stroke play will then compete in medal/match play to determine the team champion. A total of 36 holes are played on Wednesday, April 22, followed by 18 holes on Thursday, April 23. The semifinals and finals of match play will take place on Friday, April 24.
The Greyhounds are looking to capture its first
GLVC Championship team title since 2023Â when the Hounds took down Missouri S&T in the match play championship match.
Alexander Nestun was part of that 2023-24 GLVC title winning team, and is coming into this event in hot form with two consecutive top three finishes at the
Findianapolis Intercollegiate and theÂ
Ken Partridge Invitational. Along with Nestun, second-year coach Andy Serketich, will roll out a group that includes;
Andrew Johnson,
Drew Rowen,
Isac Fredriksson,
Jackson Watkins and
Joseph Armfield.Â
