NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The UIndy outdoor track & field teams made one final push to improve marks and times ahead of the upcoming Division II national championships this weekend. The Hounds competed at the Carius-Gregory Invitational on the campus of North Central College alongside the Fighting Chance Invite at the University of St. Francis (Ill.).

CARIUS-GREGORY INVITATIONAL
Beginning on the women's side, the Hounds saw
Sabrina Robison collect first place in the women's pole vault after she cleared a provisional mark of 3.88 meters.
Mackenzie VanBibber notched fifth in the event (3.58 meters). In the hammer throw,
Emily Bonser was the runner-up with her toss of 51.77 meters.
Zoe Pentecost tallied fifth in the discus (43.83 meters).

Over on the men's side,
Treyton Arnold and
Keeton Adams each grabbed second-place finishes in their respective events. Arnold cleared 4.90 meters and earned a provo in the pole vault while Adams also corralled a provo after he landed a mark of 17.20 meters in the shot put. Adams also went on to notch sixth in the hammer throw (55.09 meters) while
Cade Priddy tied for eighth in the pole vault (4.65 meters).

FIGHTING CHANCE INVITE
There were only two student-athletes who competed on Saturday at the Fighting Chance Invite. In the women's 100-meter hurdles,
Ailliyah Reese claimed fourth with a provo time of 14.14. In the men's 400-meter run,
Evan Stonitsch ended in 11th with a time of 50.41.

UP NEXT
The Hounds will now wait to see the final selections for the DII Championships coming up on May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colo. Those selections are set to be released on Tuesday, May 16.
