INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis Athletics Department announced Thursday that its 650-plus student-athletes combined for an impressive 3.34 grade point average for the 2023 spring semester, bringing the department's cumulative GPA for the 2022-23 academic year to 3.37.
 
Nineteen of its 21 of athletic programs* posted a semester GPA of 3.0 or better, with seven squads finishing above 3.5. The women's golf team led the way with a 3.843 spring GPA, with softball (3.76), women's soccer (3.660), volleyball (3.615) and men's tennis (3.613) rounding out the up five.
