PUEBLO, Colo. – The UIndy outdoor track & field teams saw the duo of
Treyton Arnold and
Zoe Pentecost kick things off at the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl. Most notably, Pentecost claimed seventh in the women's hammer throw which found her a spot on the podium and All-America honors.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Arnold began action for UIndy on Thursday early in the afternoon as he took the runway in the men's pole vault. He bowed out of competition after failing to clear 4.75 meters.

In the women's hammer throw, Pentecost saw her best toss of 58.39 meters come on her third attempt which found her a spot in seventh on the podium. This marks the second time this season she has been tabbed as an All-American, joining her third-place finish during the DII indoor championships earlier this year in the weight throw.
