LEXINGTON, Ky. - The UIndy volleyball team was among 1,332 institutions recognized on Thursday as a recipient of the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award. The Greyhounds posted a 3.54 cumulative GPA during the 2022-23 academic year.

In its 31st year, the USMC/AVA Team Academic Award honors programs that earn a minimum 3.3 GPA over the course of the year.

UIndy, which has earned the award for four consecutive years, was one of 155 NCAA Division II programs represented on the list.

The Hounds' 2023 fall campaign opens Friday, Sept. 1, in Big Rapids, Mich., at the Ferris State Invite against in-region Malone.
