INDIANAPOLIS—Senior safety Michael Brown was voted to the Division II Preseason All-America Second Team this week by the College Football Network.
 
The Indianapolis native and North Central grad picked up his second career All-GLVC nod last fall, earning first team recognition. He led all Greyhounds with 93 total tackles on the way to earning the UIndy Outstanding Defensive Back of the Year Award.
 
Brown had an award-winning week versus Quincy last October, amassing a career-high 14 tackles, two INTs and one forced fumble on the way to nabbing GLVC Defensive Player of the Week accolades. He later hauled in his fourth and final interception of the year in the Greyhounds' playoff game at Pittsburg State.

Brown and his Greyhound teammates open the 2023 season at home versus Hillsdale on Saturday, Sept. 2.
