CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The UIndy men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Robert H. Johnson "Some Little Giant" Open. Hosted by Wabash College, UIndy only sent their throwers to compete.

WOMEN'S RECAP
Zoe Pentecost took home first in the weight throw and second in the shot put. With a distance of 19.85 meters in the weight throw, Pentecost passed the provost required (17.00) to compete at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships. The senior reached 12.61 meters in the shot put.

Macie Swincehart finished third in the shot put with a final distance of 12.26 meters.
Audra Hogan was another Greyhound who finished in the top three. In the weight throw, Hogan finished third with 15.98 meters.

MEN'S RECAP
Dylan Mayhew was the highest men's finisher for UIndy. Competing in the weight throw, Mayhew placed second after reaching 17.85 meters. In the shot put,
Cameron Smith was the top Greyhound in fourth place with 15.35 meters. Smith also earned sixth place in the weight throw, he reached 16.06 meters, earning him sixth.

UIndy will compete in the local Butler Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 20. Host by Butler, the meet will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
