The UIndy women's basketball team will open 2024 play against Truman and Maryville on Wednesday and Saturday, respectively. The Greyhounds will travel to Kirksville, MO to face the Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Hounds lead Truman 11-9 in their all-time series, the last time they faced each other was on Feb. 2, 2023 when the Greyhounds took home a 75-72 win at home.
UIndy will return to Nicoson Hall on Jan. 6 to play Maryville. The Saints have the upper hand over the Greyhounds with an 8-7 all-time series record. Their last contest was on Jan. 16, 2023 in Indianapolis, the Hounds defeated the Saints 75-70.
LAST TIME OUT
The University of Indianapolis women's basketball team closed out the 2023 section of their season with an 83-71 victory over in-region Ohio Dominican.
Liv Becker and
Elana Wells were the offensive powerhouses for the Greyhounds. Becker dropped a 23 and 10 double-double and Wells scoring 20 points off a career-high 12 free throws made. Outside of Becker and Wells, the Hounds had two more players hit double digits in scoring in
Jada Haines and newcomer
Shekinah Thomas.
