Greyhounds Stay in Top-25 in Recent Index

NEW ORLEANS - The UIndy women's track and field team remains in the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA DII Rating Index. The Greyhounds are in 25th place with a total of 26.79 points.

Zoe Pentecost is the key contributor to UIndy's points. Pentecost is ranked first in the country in the weight throw with 19.85 meters, this gives the Greyhounds 24.18 points. Ellie Lengerich is ranked in three different events giving the Hounds 2.63 points. Lengerich highest ranking is in the pentathlon at 14th. Ailliyah Reese (60m hurdles) and Sabrina Robison (pole vault) both are 17th in the nation in their respective events. Reese gives 1.23 points and Robison gives 1.10.

UIndy will travel to fellow GLVC member Lewis to compete in the Lewis Invitational. Taking place on Friday, Feb. 2, at the Lewis Fieldhouse in Romeoville, Ill.
