The No. 19 UIndy football team heads to McKendree University Saturday afternoon for the first of two straight road games. Though Greyhounds own a 11-1 record in the all-time series, McKendree escaped Key Stadium last November with a 21-16 win—UIndy's only regular-season loss of the year.

UIndy enters the weekend atop the GLVC standings after orchestrating a 47-10 rout of visiting Quincy University last Saturday. The Greyhounds racked up a season-high point total while holding the Hawks scoreless for the final 50 minutes of game time. The defense forced three turnovers in all—two interceptions and a forced fumble—while QB Gavin Sukup accounted for three touchdowns on the night.

The win also netted UIndy two of the three weekly awards from the GLVC, with both Kivonte Houston and Ian Burr being tabbed as top performers. The Greyhounds have earned multiple GLVC Player of the Week honors on two occasions this season and seven times since the start of the 2022 campaign—both league highs.
