INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy volleyball team enters the 16th annual Midwest Region Crossover this weekend in Hammond, Ind., with three regional opponents on tap. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) is hosting this year's event, with members of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) also competing.
 
The Greyhounds are slated to face Findlay (G-MAC) on Friday at 10 a.m. ET and Northern Michigan later in the day at 8 p.m. ET. The Greyhounds are currently 14-4 this fall.
 
The Hounds faced the Oilers last year at the Crossover, with Findlay coming out on top in four sets. The last time Northern Michigan and UIndy played was in 2010 at the DII Midwest Regional, were the Greyhounds defeated the Wildcats, 3-1.
 
The team's third and final contest of the weekend will take place at 12:30 p.m. or 3 p.m. ET on Saturday. The results from Friday's matches for the top nine in each conference will determine the pairings.
 
Findlay and Northern Michigan hold the all-time edge against UIndy; the Oilers lead, 8-6, and the Wildcats have won six of the last five meetings.
 
Outside Hitter Kelsey McKenney paces the Greyhound offense with a .372 hitting percentage and 1.87 kills/set, with Sophia Parlanti averaging 3.69 kills/set. Claire Morris is the sole setter for the Greyhounds and has grabbed 697 this season. Morris currently sits at 12th in most career assists and program history.
