LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The UIndy men's and women's cross country teams took on the Liv in Lou Classic on Saturday. Hosted by Bellarmine University, the meet featured three different levels of competition for both genders. The Hounds took on the silver races, featuring over 190 runners and 25 teams for the men, with 36 teams and 200 runners on the women's side.

MEN'S RECAP
On the men's side, UIndy finished second out of 24 teams. The Greyhounds averaged a time of 27:04.02 for the 8k race and had a total time of 2:14:49.61.

Junior
Felix Rivet finished inside the top 10 during the race placing sixth. Rivet clocked 26:11.0. Fellow Frenchman, senior
Tom Saint-Juvin, was not far behind his teammate in 12th. Saint-Juvin finished in 26:27.7, his best this season.

Freshman
Conyer Wilson was the third and final Greyhound to claw inside the top 20. Wilson crossed the finish line in 16:40.0, securing him 15th place.

Senior
Harnoor Dosanjh placed 43rd for the Hounds with a time of 27:49.8. Sophomore Joseue Le Carde clocked 27:54.2, earning 45th place.

Noah Vachon (71st, 28:52.3), and freshmen
Will Moser (87th, 29:08.0),
Curt Dahncke (122nd, 30:02.9), and
Keaton Walker (158th, 31:56.8).

WOMEN'S RECAP
The women, who competed in a 5k, finished 19th out of 36 teams. The Greyhounds totaled 1:55:13.60, with an average race time of 23:02.72.

Junior
Emma Gaston led the way for the Hounds placing 35th. Gaston finished in 20:36.1, just 34.5 seconds off her personal best. Up next for the hounds was senior
Ellie Lengerich who clocked 23:12.6, securing her 129th place.

Rounding up UIndy's lineup was senior
Trinity Gleitz (130th, 23:13.2), freshman
Jorjia Ferguson (142nd, 23:47.0), and junior
Cloey Simon (160th, 24:24.7).

UP NEXT
UIndy will have a quick turnaround and compete in the Lewis Conference Crossover next weekend. Action is slated for Saturday, Oct. 12 on Lewis's campus in Romeoville, Ill.
