The fresh-look UIndy women's basketball team opens a new era over the weekend, hosting No. 5 Ashland and in-region Malone from inside Nicoson Hall. 

First-year head coach Jama Sharp returns to her home state of Indiana since graduating from Mooresville High School in 2011 as the program's all-time leading scorer. Five Greyhounds are back, including two-time All-GLVC guard Elana Wells and last season's leading rebounder Patricia Chikamba.

The Greyhounds and Eagles are deadlocked in the all-time series at 20 wins apiece, while the Pioneers hold the edge against the Crimson and Grey, 3-1.
