TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The UIndy track and field teams competed at the ISU Open and the Hillsdale Tune-Up. Both meets had participating schools form all three NCAA divisions. The throwers competed at Hillsdale with the rest of the team competing at ISU.
ISU OPEN
Hadley Fisher was the sole Greyhound who won their event at the ISU Open. Fisher competed in the mile and crossed the finish line with a time of 5:06.80 meters. This time created a new meet record for the ISU Open.
In the women's pole vault,
Sabrina Robison cleared 3.91 meters securing second place.
Hallie Montgomery also took second place in her event. Montgomery, fresh off of breaking a school record, competed in the 200m finishing with a time of 25.14 seconds.
Zaleeya Martin also competed in the 200m, finishing right behind her teammate in third. Clocking 26.41 seconds, Martin created a new season-best time.
Emma Gaston had her highest finish of the season after competing in the 3000m. Gaston placed third with a time of 11:37.38. The sophomore also clocked a new personal best in the mile with a time of 5:37.38.
On the men's side,
Treyton Arnold took third in the pole vault. Arnold cleared 4.66 meters, .27 meters below his season high.
Jaycee Wilburn and
Brandon Wheat claimed fourth place in their respective events. Wilburn competed in the 800m and crossed the finish line at the 1:55.10 mark. Wheat was in the 200m, he finished with a time of 22.88 seconds.
At the conclusion of the meet, the women finished second out of seven with 63 points. The men claimed 32 points, taking fourth out of six. ISU took the top spot on each side, both teams accumulated 192 points.

HILLSDALE TUNE-UP
Zoe Pentecost finished first in the women's weight throw for the fifth time this season. Pentecost cleared 19.29 meters to claim the top spot.
Emily Bosner was the highest-placing Greyhound in the women's shot put. Bosner reached 13.25 meters. Pentecost (12.52 meters) placed fourth and
Faith Hensel (12.36 meters) finished in fifth.
In the men's shot put the Greyhounds took the top three top in the event.
Kaden Edwards took the top spot and reached an NCAA DII Provo with 16.66 meters.
Dylan Mayhew followed in second with 16.14 meters and
Cameron Smith in third with 15.80 meters.
Meyhew and Smith finished in the top three again in the men's weight throw. Mayhew reached 17.53 meters, taking second. With his second third-place finish of the day, Smith reached 16.84 meters.
UP NEXT
The Greyhounds will prepare for the GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships. UIndy will be hosting the event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The competition will begin on Friday, Feb. 24, and will continue through Sunday.
