The UIndy men's basketball team wraps up regular season action this weekend on the border of the Mississippi River, battling Missouri-St. Louis and McKendree in a pair GLVC road bouts. The Greyhounds are looking to complete the season sweep of both programs after defeating both the
Tritons and Bearcats (
Pack the House) back in January from Nicoson Hall.
UIndy was one of 10 programs listed as "
under consideration" in the initial NCAA DII Midwest Regional poll, released last week. The first set of rankings of the top 10, in order, will be announced later today.
LAST TIME OUT
The UIndy men's basketball team showed out for Senior Day last Saturday, earning an
89-74 victory over Rockhurst to complete the season sweep.
The four seniors –
Jesse Bingham,
David Ejah,
Kendrick Tchoua, and
Josiah Tynes – combined for 47 points, 29 rebounds, 14 assists, six blocks, and six steals.
Jarvis Walker outshined them all, however, finishing with
31 points on 10-of-16 shooting and
seven 3-pointers. Tynes was credited with a career-high
eight assists, while Tchoua secured a career-best
17 boards. Ejah also contributed four of his
five blocks in the second half.
