NEW ORLEANS - Ellie Lengerich,
Zoe Pentecost, and
Sabrina Robison from the UIndy women's track and field team have been awarded Midwest All-Region Honors. The list was announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) on Tuesday. All three Greyhounds are set to compete at the NCAA DII Championships this weekend.

Lengerich finished in first place at the GLVC Champions with 3790 points. This is a new school record and a career-high for the junior. Lengerich enters the weekend 12th overall.

Pentecost is currently ranked No. 1 in the weight throw with a mark of 19.85 meters. Â The senior won the GLVC title in the event and finished third last year at the championships.

Robison was the third and final Greyhound to be recognized. The senior won and demolished her own school record at the conference championships in the pole vault after clearing 4.20 meters. With this height, Robison is ranked fourth in Division II.

The national meet is slated to begin on Friday, March 8, and last through March 9. The festivities will take place on the campus of Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan. Â
