LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The UIndy softball team continues to be ranked fifth in the nation in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's (NFCA) Poll. At
32-2, the Hounds currently have the third-highest win/loss percentage in Division II at .914.
UIndy was 3-1 on the weekend with doubleheaders against Missouri-St. Louis and McKendree.
Against UMSL, Lexy Rees hit two grand slams in back-to-back innings. The senior became the first-ever Greyhound to do this since at least 2001 and set a new program mark with six career slams. Rees's performance helped name her the
GLVC Player of the Week.
