Greyhounds Ranked Fourth in Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy men's lacrosse team appeared in the second set of NCAA DII Regional Rankings for the 2024 season, released Wednesday. Ranked fourth, the Greyhounds are currently in a position to host a first-round game on Wednesday, March 8.

The Hounds are currently 11-3, with two of their losses coming at the hands of fellow programs recognized on Wednesday in Lenoir-Rhyne and Newberry. The Greyhounds square off with sixth-ranked Maryville on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET in St. Louis.

UIndy has earned a berth in each of the past four NCAA tournaments, including a run to the national semifinal in 2019 in just its fourth season as a program. The Greyhounds advanced to the regional semis last spring.

The top six teams in each the North and South Regions will earn a berth in this year's dance, with the No. 1-2 seeds receiving a bye to the national quarterfinals.
