BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Lindy's Sports released its NCAA Division II football preseason poll recently, with the University of Indianapolis coming in at No. 15. The Greyhounds are fresh off a nine-win season, a GLVC championship and a second straight playoff appearance.

Chris Keevers returns 16 of 22 starters from last year's conference championship squad, including quarterback and Harlon Hill candidate
Gavin Sukup. UIndy will kickoff the 2024 campaign on the road when it travels to former-GLIAC-rival Hillsdale College on Sept. 7. The home opener comes a week later versus Truman, which invades Key Stadium Sept. 14 for a 6 p.m. kick.

Lindy's Sports preseason poll featured eight other Super Region Three teams. Each of the top four hail from SR3, including top-ranked and reigning national-champion Harding University.
